Nothing Like Some Home Cookin'

Despite a slow road trip, the Yankee lineup has now scored 15 runs in 2 games since coming back to the Bronx. Mark Teixeira and Jorge Posada with a 1-2 punch in the 7th, both smacked 2-run jacks in the inning. Andy Pettitte is off to his best start since 1997. Pettitte pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, gave up just two hits, and improves to 5-0 with a 1.79 ERA. Yankees beat the Twins 7-1. We were in the locker room after the game.
