WATCH: Rutgers Pro Day

It says a lot about the state of Rutgers football that the program hosts it’s own Pro Day – an afternoon where scouts from EVERY NFL team come to campus to test draft-eligible players Combine-style.

It also says a lot that former players like Pro Bowler Ray Rice and Titans defensive back Jason McCourty come back to Piscataway to support guys going through the nerve-wracking experience.

We were there today for drills ranging from the 40-yard dash to the standing broad jump.

Rutgers has turned several out top draft picks this season, and 2010 shouldn’t be an exception.

Offensive tackle Anthony Davis is a near lock to be drafted in the first round (though he wasn’t a Pro Day today…he worked at the NFL Combine last week in Indianapolis) and defensive back Devin McCourty could do anywhere between the first and third rounds.

Take a listen below to all the awesome stuff we’ve compiled from Pro Day. There’s a couple ways you can go about it:

1) There’s a Cliff Notes version of the afternoon in the first video player.

2) But if you want more (and trust me, it’s good stuff), we’ve added complete interviews with guys like Rice, both McCourty’s, wide receiver Tim Brown, and coach Greg Schiano.

Check it out:

Unforutnately we ran out of time and couldn't even get a mention...not even Mr G got in his last weather and that's when you know. However, I agree local scores ARE A MUST and we will be more diligent in the future.
