The Big East was a huge deal back then. The Red Storm, Villanova, and Georgetown made the Final Four that year; the Hoyas beat St. John's in the national semifinals then lost to Villanova in the championship game. Hear from Chris Mullin and Bill Wennington after the break.

1985 was a special year at St. John's. I was actually living in South Philadelphia during the run made by Villanova.
Have Louie Carnesecca, Rollie Massimino and John Thompson Sr. in the Final Four was wonderful theatre.
