Anybody Nostalgic About Giants Stadium?
The Giants play their last game EVER at (the old) Giants Stadium tomorrow, ending 33 years in the building before moving across the parking lot.

But unlike the recent emotional stadium closings at Shea and the old Yankee Stadium, this one just doesn’t have that same cache.
So I ask ANYONE out there….are you nostalgic at all about this stadium closing?
There’s no question Giants Stadium has seen it’s share of memorable moments, but for some reason – and I’m a Giants fan – I’m not too choked up about their final game tomorrow.
The fact that the Giants don’t actually play the VERY LAST game at the Stadium might be a contributing factor to my indifference (that honor goes to the Jets (?) next week).
But I don’t sense I’m alone here.
Last baseball season we were inundated with reminders of how great Shea and Yankee Stadium were.
Not so much this time around with Giants Stadium.
Why is that? Unlike Yankee and Shea, Giants Stadium played host to TWO professional teams and was a sick concert venue.
Could it be it’s perceived lack of charm? I think that might have something to do with it. People from Jersey might call me a Garden State-hater, but that whole Meadowlands area has ZERO allure.
This final game just doesn’t feel the same.
Do you need more proof? When Shea and Yankee Stadiums hosted their final games, we here in the sports department were fighting each other for who would go to cover the game.
As for tomorrow, I find sleeping in an extra two hours and then watching the game from the office much more appealing.
Sorry, Giants Stadium. You just didn't do it for me.

I'M A TRUE BLUE GIANT'S FAN I BLEED GIANTS BLOOD,
GIANT'S HAS HAD THERE UP'S + DOWN'S THE 33 YEARS THAT THEY BEEN THERE.BUT THE MOST ONE THAT ALL GIANT FAN'S WILL REMEMBER IS THE (FUMBLE)ANYWAY GO GIANTS ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Baseball stadiums are always more memorable. With their uniqueness and so many games being played, it lends itself to nostalgia.
As a Jets fan, I will always think of Giants Stadium as the Stadium that robbed Queens of its' team. The Queens born franchise was jetisoned to that far away land known only to Jets fans as "The Meadowlands." I have no fond memories of Giants Stadium. It is a sterile environment that never seemed home for the New York Jets. Maybe the new stadium, PSL Park, across the way will feel more like home, that is, if you can afford to actually park your car and get a ticket. Bye...bye...Giants Stadium,...We Love To See You Go!!!
Like you and me, James, apparently the Giants could care less, too.
They clearly didn't feel like showing up tonight to honor their stadium.
YEA YOUR RIGHT IT'S TIME TOO MOVE ON+ FORGET ON HOW THE DEFENSE GAVE THE GAME AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
