How pathetic am I? I'm already looking toward next year. As a Mets fan... That's all I have. I'm hoping and praying that we only have half of the injuries next year that we had this year. (That would be twice the injuries we had last year, but I digress.) Anyway, the 2010 schedule has come out for both the Mets and the Yankees.

Here are some of the highlights. The Mets start the year April 5th against the Florida Marlins at Citi Field. They face the Yankees May 21-23 in Queens and June 18-20 in the Bronx. If you like eating seafood in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, you can plan a trip for June 11-13, the Mets go to Camden Yards for the second straight season. The Mets get their first crack at the Phillies April 30th in Philadelphia. If the season comes down to the final weekend (wouldn't we have loved that this year, minus the heartbreak at the end) the Washington Nationals will be at Citi Field October 1-3.

As for the Yankees, I've already mentioned the 2 Subway Series against the Mets. The Bombers start their season against their arch rival Red Sox up in Boston. They also end there October 1-3. The games in between are May 7-9 in Boston, May 17-18, August 6-9, and September 24-26 all at Yankee Stadium. The home opener is April 13th against thorn in the side Anaheim. The Yankees face their former manager Joe Torre June 25-27 when they face the Dodgers in L-A. Wouldn't it have been interesting if they came here instead? Anyway... as Yankees fans gear up for the playoffs, I gear up for next year. How pathetic am I?
