Knicks Outlook on 2009-2010

We are just one month away from the start of the NBA season. The Knicks are hoping to field a competitive team while waiting to see if they can get their hands on LeBron James or any of the other attractive players who will be free agents in the summer of 2010. We spoke to the players today at their annual media day.

Since all the talk is about July 1, 2010, why play the 2009-2010 season. Why should the fans continue to waste their hard earned money in these difficult economic times to watch a basketball team that is so focused on NEXT season (2010-2011) season. Haven't the fans at the Garden squandered enough money on this sad sack basketball organization. The Knicks have cleared salary cap space in anticipation of 2010-2011 season. There is no reason to support this team. Give me a reason, Chris?
