Mets' David Wright Batting Again

8:54PM | August 25, 2009 | posted by Lolita Lopez | comments: 1

David Wright took some swings and spoke to reporters at Keyspan Park. It was the first time he has stepped into the batters box since that scary incident August 14 when Matt Cain's fastball hit him in the head. The Mets put David on the DL immediately and good for everyone. A COMPLETE recovery is the most important thing right now especially since the Mets are not looking to do anything this season other than finish it. David is candid about Billy Wagner leaving for Boston and Johan Santana out for the season. Listen up!
