Anna Kournikova Clawed in Catfight

Tennis beauty Anna Kournikova was scratched on her neck after getting into a scuffle last weekend in Las Vegas.
The 'catfight' supposedly took place at Lavo nightclub. Kournikova, 28, was partying on the Strip after attending the HardBat All-Star Table Tennis Tournament.

Reports say that Anna and her assistant were sitting at a VIP table when a woman bumped them. After a little pushing and shoving the ladies were separated. It escalated further when the woman confronted Kournikova again as she was leaving the nightclub.
"The woman came back over and threw a drink on Anna and her assistant," the source said. "The woman was definitely drunk."
A source at the scene said that "it was a big fight". The unidentified woman was later thrown out of the nightclub while Anna suffered scratch marks on her neck. Kournikova's rep did not comment.
Anna doesn't mention the scuffle on her website, but said this about the table tennis tournament,
"I used to think of the game as just a recreational fun thing to do while hanging out with some friends, but having had the chance to learn a little more about the sport I now know it's very competitive and has a lot of similarities to tennis."
Video of the brawl (if any) has yet to surface, but for those ping pong enthusiasts, I did find a promo video about the tournament. Obviously, not as compelling.

The competition (in it's 1st year) wrapped up with a final match-up between 73 year old Wayne Obertone and 23 year old Jack Baker. Baker beat Obertone and took home $100,000 in prize money.
Broadcast footage of the event is slated for late September.
