Carlos Boozer: Bring Him in!!

A few weeks back while watching the Lakers vs. Jazz in the playoffs, the announcer said that Carlos Boozer's days in Utah might be numbered because they're high on Paul Milsap. Immediately I thought... Hmmm... a frontline of Brook Lopez, Blake Griffin and Carlos Boozer would not be bad in New Jersey... Ok... the Griffin thing won't happen, but my Nets are in the mix to get Boozer... I'm pretty excited...

Boozer is telling his peeps that he's going to either the Pistons or the Nets... Word is that he'll opt out of his deal with Utah to become a free agent. The Nets would most likely have to sign and trade to get Boozer... Vince Carter or Bobby Simmons would probably be involved. The Nets are over the cap but Simmons' contract is expiring. The Nets have to keep their eye on the cap because they still have visions of King James dancing in their heads. The Nets have a nice young team right now with Brook Lopez and Devin Harris. Boozer and perhaps LeBron James down the line would go a long way toward bring a championship to New Jersey or Brooklyn... The 2 played together both in Cleveland and on the Olympic team in Beijing. LeBron learned the hard way, in these playoffs that he can't do it all by himself.
