Rangers, Devils Lick Their Wounds
Rangers and Devils fans normally can't stand each other. Today, they can share sad stories over a stiff drink at the local bar. the Blueshirts blew a 3-1 series lead and lost to the Capitals last night, 2-1 in DC. The Rangers MUST get a sniper. This season, the team did not have a player in the TOP 60 in scoring. That makes it tough when Henrik Lundqvist has to stand on his head. For the first time in 12 series, the Rangers lose when leading 3 games to 1.
The Devils? Oh, the pain, as Joe B might say on WFAN. To give up 2 goals in less than 80 seconds and lose to the Hurricanes in Game 7. Fans at The Rock may want to stay away from sharp objects for awhile. BUT-New Jersey will be back-you may not be able to say that about the Rangers.

Why doesn't Tribune Broadcasting make a run at the NHL package that NBC now has? Could be used as Sat, Night programming on your CW & MyNet stations and would be attractive to CW, MyNet & Independent stations outside Tribune coverage area. At playoff time, a Sunday aft. or evening game could be added.
