Derek Jeter Vs. David Wright??!! (Plus Their Takes on the New Season)

Usually the Yankees and Mets compete for our attention, ticket dollars and fan allegiance…BUT WE’VE NEVER REALLY SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.
The team’s two biggest stars, David Wright and Derek Jeter, will duel throughout this entire season … the player with the higher batting average earning $100,000 for his charitable foundation.
Delta Airlines is sponsoring the “Jeter/Wright Batting Challenge.” The runner-up receives $50,000.
The two players were on hand this morning to talk about the challenge and give their thoughts on the upcoming season.
**Also, in case you were wondering, Wright would have won this challenge two out of the last three seasons.**
