To be Frank, Lawrence has got to go!

Let me first say that in this time of economic uncertainty, I hate to see anyone to lose their job. But as a Nets fan, I have taken all I can take. Lawrence Frank should be let go. He is the nicest guy in the world. He has been nothing but accomodating to me and everyone else in the media, but that does not matter. He has got to go.
When he took over for Byron Scott in January 2004, Frank's Nets won 13 straight but wound up losing to the eventual champion Detroit Pistons in the second round. In that playoff series, a signature moment happened. Chauncey Billups hit a running 3 pointer to force overtime in Game 5. The Nets eventually won that game in triple overtime but lost the series in 7 games. The Nets and Jason Kidd lost at home in game 6. We later found out that Kidd was basically playing on one knee. They definitely were hurt by playing 3 OT's in game 5. From that, Frank's ridiculous "philosophy" of fouling a guy when you have a 3 point lead, was born. That came up to bite the Nets most recently in L-A a few days back when they lost to the Clippers at the buzzer. Gotta give credit to Evan Roberts of WFAN who went nuts on the radio criticizing Frank and he was 100% right.
The Nets are supposedly challenging for the 8th playoff spot in the East and what a run it has been... 5 straight losses, 4-12 in March... Pitiful efforts against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Monday night against the Bucks to punctuate their futility. The team has given up on their coach and the season. When that happens, that means the coach is no longer being heard and he has to be let go. There is no passion on defense, offense, the bench, the locker room, anywhere. I'm not saying the Nets, as they are presently constituted are a championship team that is not playing well. But they should be a lot better than this. They had a chance to play for a playoff spot and they collapsed. When the Nets were better, they never overachieved, always underachieved. He never got the team to the next level. In fact they disappointed most times. Frank never won the games he wasn't supposed to win and many times lost the games he was supposed to win.
The franchise is in trouble. They will probably never move to Brooklyn.. They don't draw at the Meadowlands and before you know it, could be in Kansas City. If they think they have a remote chance at attracting LeBron James, they better do something to improve this team. Asking Jay-Z to bring in LeBron just won't cut it. There are some building blocks. Devin Harris and Brook Lopez are keepers. You might be able to get a good young player for Vince Carter. Not sure what Yi Jianlian, Ryan Anderson, or Chris Douglas Roberts are, but Frank did nothing to develop these players.
So get rid of Frank... He'll be OK... The coaching fraternity is a deep one. He'll get another job as an assistant or head coach. Or he'll get an analyst job. It's just not working out here with the Nets.
