The Mets broke out the lumber for the first time as a team Thursday down in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Our Lolita Lopez was there as D-Wright, Carlos Delgado and Luis Castillo (among MANY others) took their hacks.

Lolita caught up with skipper Jerry Manuel and Delgado to get their thoughts on day one of "Operation Offense."

Jerry Manuel is emphasizing selfless offense in 2009. Moving runners. Being efficient on offense. The mets hitters will be working on that this spring.
