What Do You Know About Brian Westbrook??

(Deep breath….) Deceptive-style runner, graduated from DeMatha High June 1997, Villanova University graduate class of 2001, holds 1 NCAA record, for all-purpose yards in a career, former nickname “The Mule” (ok, that one’s NOT true), one of many pro-athletes to come out of Washington D.C., and one HELL of a model American (Exhale…..).

Now that you’re guaranteed NOT to confuse the Eagles’ Pro Bowl running back with former (fictional) Dolphins kicker Ray Finkle, let’s talk about the key player in Sunday’s divisional playoff game (that being Westbrook…you still with me?).

If you ask me (and by reading this blog, you pretty much are), if the Giants contain Brian Westbrook, they will win the game. If they don’t, they will lose. It’s as simple as that. No other single factor in the game is NEARLY as important as Westbrook’s production.

If Westbrook performs like he did week 14 (203 all-purpose yards, 2 TDs) consider the Giants’ season over. If Big Blue is able to collar him, like they did in week 10 (59 all-purpose yards, 0 TD), they’ll live to see the NFC Championship game.
