Now that the Giants and Jets are done til next September and there is still about a month until pitchers and catchers report... And then still another 3 months until the baseball regular season... What captures your sports fancy? What are you paying attention to?

The guys who talk sports on the radio say that this is the worst time of the year for sports... The down time between football and baseball. This year, that down time starts a little earlier with the Giants and Jets being bounced. But I'm just curious. What do you do? Do you talk hot stove baseball? (Derek Lowe to the Braves... John Smoltz to the Red Sox... Oliver Perez, Manny Ramirez go to ???) Do you continue to beat yourselves up and re-live the Giants loss? Are you trying to figure out who the Jets will hire? Do you get into College Basketball... The NBA? The NHL?

Do you talk about the new stadium funding plans... If so, STOP! What do you care about? Leave a comment and let us know. I'll start. I'm into the NBA... I think I am among 3 fans who watch the New Jersey Nets. I watch every game and have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I didn't think this team would do anything this year and right now they are a 500 team. By the way I am not a disgruntled Knicks fan who switched sides. I've watched the Nets since 1982... Ugh, I'm old... allright ... Let me know what's up... What are you watching?

Baseball season never ends in New York. 12 months a year baseball is the primary discussion in our city. Hot Stove, followed by Sring Training, the rgular season and the playoffs and world series.
