Who's Got The Best Story
I love a good story. When the story comes from athletes that we usually just see on TV...those folks we pick apart, analyze, criticize and sometimes praise... it goes to show these guys (and girls) are human. They are people like you and me, with challenges and triumphs, with downsides and bright moments.
It's important to keep in mind they, like all of us, are just doing their jobs and using their talents to move forward in life. I love that Dustin Keller worked so hard he was to the point of passing out to make the team. It shows character and a strong work ethic. I love that D'Brick continues to be humbled by the fact that he might have never been able to do what he does today. His heart is not only healthy but filled with love for what he does and the responsibility to do it right. With all the bad stories from professional athletes these days...few and far between I might add (those, unfortunately, get all the headlines)...here are some positive, sometimes humorous tales that may remind us we are all human...By Lolita Lopez
