No Plax – No Problem…Giants Have Receivers To Spare

With Plaxico Burress likely done as a New York Giant, Big Blue is forced to move on without one of the top playmakers in the NFL. While that loss would likely sink most teams, this Giant squad is known for its resiliency. We visited practice Wednesday to find out how the Giants plan to replace Plaxico’s considerable production. Take a look.

The numbers don’t lie. In 2008, the Giants have been just as good with Plaxico as they have been without him (maybe even better). Ridding the team of his rotten personality will allow young players like Hixon, Moss and Smith to blossom.

Sure they won’t command the attention on the field that Burress did, but they likely won’t grab the spotlight like Plax did OFF the field, either.
