What Did Kris Jenkins Miss Most During The Jets’ Road Trip?

The Jets return to the Meadowlands Sunday as conquering heroes, having knocked off the mighty Patriots and the even mightier Titans. Come Sunday, it will be 21 days between home games for Gang Green, and the Jets miss the ol’ swamp.

We caught up with the Jets’ all-world tackle and quote-machine Kris Jenkins to find out what he missed most about Giants Stadium these past few weeks. Take a listen, you might be surprised.

Jenkins is of course speaking of famous fan “Fireman Ed” Anzalone, the leader of the team’s famous “J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets” chant.

A newcomer to New York this season, Jenkins spent his whole career in Carolina and has made a remarkably smooth transition with the Jets. As excited as Jenkins may be to return to his home field, fans like Fireman Ed are undoubtedly more ecstatic to have Jenkins anchoring their defensive line.
