Throw Pac-Man Out!

I'm usually one of those guys that says "give him another chance." Not this time. Adam "Pac-Man" Jones is up for re-instatement after his latest transgression. I say to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell: Throw him out! Let me first say that I am not a Cowboys fan. Nor am I a Redskins, Eagles, or Giants fan. I don't have a pony in the race! But I am sick and tired of hearing about this guy and his many run-ins with the law.
Jones is eligible to come back to the NFL after serving a 4 game suspension and undergoing league mandated alcohol counseling. He will await Goodell's ruling on his future. While I think Goodell WILL give Jones another chance, I don't think he should. Firstly, how many chances should one guy get?? He's been part of a police investigation at least 11 times, maybe more. I just haven't found all of them. He obviously has an alcohol problem, but in the real world (the world that does not include sports and entertainment) you don't as many chances to clean up your act. If you or I (regular Joes and Janes) were in trouble as many times as this guy, would we keep our jobs? Probably not. Many people enjoy an adult beverage now and again. But this guy over-indulges and when he does, violence usually follows. It's a priviliege to play in the NFL and Jones has not treated it as such. Too many times, guys get chances that they don't deserve because they can hit a fastball, or shoot the three, or throw a football 50 yards. I say draw the line right here... Right now.
