Weekly Doc Visits Have Begun, Thanks For The Gifts

Hi Everyone,

First of all a big thanks to Donna Newman for the beautiful baby bibs. And yes Donna, they are hand stitched with love :)

Debrorah Appell, thank you for the amazing baby blanket. I will treasure the baby gifts and my child is blessed to have wonderful people like you in it's life. I included photos of what they made, after the jump.

As for the pregnancy, I'm getting to the end! I just started my weekly visits to the doctor. It's scary stuff. I keep on thinking: "Will I have the strength to push this baby out?" I know I can but there is always this voice of doubt in your head. Ugh!!! I will get through this moment of weakness. We are pre-registered and I do have my bags packed. Other than that, I just talk to the baby every morning, telling it how ready I am for it come.

I did get a ton of stuff done this week. The crib is ready and most of our stuff has been packed. I hope by the end of the month we will be out of our apartment and ready to focus all our energy on the baby. Then, we will tackle the new house.

So many blessings and I do count all of you among them.

Congrats to you!! I too have just started with the weekly Dr visits (today was the first). What a strange experience this whole thing has been!! Our families are thrilled and can't wait for their first niece/nephew/grandchild!! Don't know about you, but the heartburn has kicked right back in for me, and it's just pure torture! Hi Suki! I just had my first baby 2 months ago...all throughout my pregnancy i swore it was a boy... out of lets say 50 people maybe 3 said it looked like i was having a girl. People would stop me in walmart, supermarkets, bakerys (i had a sweet tooth all the time) and say thats a boy. So i had a my heart set on a boy- Well to my and everyone elses surprise it was a girl! so the reality of having a girl took a little while to set in... but...everytime my little girl smiles my heart melts and nothing else in this world matters. its such a blessing and i bet the first time you make your baby smile it will bring tears to your eyes... well im a crybaby so maybe not haha! best of luck for a quickie delivery! P.S love your sense of humor!

I watch WPIX Morning News on channel 43 religiously as I am getting ready for work. I admire your style and the easy comraderie you have with your colleagues. You have a wide-range and you never make the news boring.

I wish you a smooth transition as you get ready to embark upon this new chapter in your life. Cherish each moment and I am sure you will take tons of picture. You will be missed when you go on maternity. All the best to you and your family.

Hi Suki. Just found out you are in labor and wanted to wish you the best of luck. I know it is easier said than done but try to relax and enjoy this wonderful milestone in oyur life. Everything will be fine. Labor is such an incredible experience and marks the start of a new life. My parayers are with you and your family!

Suki, I am so excited for you and your husband. I missed you this morning and was so upset since I have watched you for so long. Hi SuKi, Your baby boy is soooo cute.... I'm happy for you and your husband. May God bless your new family. P.S. You have a leo boy, get ready for the big challege's. Good and bad, please make sure he's in bed at his usual time cause if not every body around will know it's his bed time, I should know cause my son joshua went off at the olive garden restaurant when he was one month old back in 1992(Born7/25/92). and I was at least a hour away from home. he's the king of the jungle with a loud roar!!!and a big heart.
