The Nursery Is Just About Ready For Baby Schroeder

Hi Everyone,
Week 35 is ending and Week 36 is starting. In fact, Saturday will be the countdown: four weeks left until Baby Schroeder is going to show his or her lovely face. I truly cannot wait.
As for the rest of my life, in one word: hectic. Everyday it feels like there is something major to do. Yesterday, I finally finished all the laundry and cleaned out my childhood bedroom. For those of you who don't know, I will be moving in with my parents for the first couple of weeks. Mom is going to be my salvation. I was able to get the nursery in some sort of order and today's task will be cleaning and moving out!!! I can't wait to just get everything in order. I think I'm driving my mom crazy because since I'm moving into her house, it's all about getting stuff there organized.
Next week, I will be strating those weekly doctor visits and hopefully I did not gain a ton of weight like I did when I took my babymoon. Note to self: you can gain an incredible amount of weight if you love ice cream sundaes, LOL!
Other than that folks, I feel great. I feel ready as I will ever be and thank you for all your love and words of encouragement! It has been a blessing.
Have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday.

Good luck, it's right around the corner. I am due on the 29th with my first, so I am just a little ahead of you. I wish you all the best!! After watching you guys today, I have to get to babies R us and get that bottle with the pacifier and the spoon with the food in in (forget what the proper name was...lol) I watch the Pix 11 every morning and I love all of you!!
Good luck!!! :)
Hi Suki!! I love watching you every morning, you add a little spice to the morning news!! And being of Trinidadian heritage, I like spicey! ;) I have a 20mth old son, so I've been where you are now, the whole nesting thing, product info-overload, but it's tons of fun and well worth it! I just wanted to wish you the best of luck, you are positively glowing and gorgeous!!
One thing, this morning, the "Snack Trap", great idea, but my son has been ripping off the top part with the opening in a heartbeat ever since I got it, so he ends up making a mess anyway, totally defeating the purpose of it! LOL! I constantly have to make sure the top is still on whenever we're out...until we finally lost it last Saturday!! So now I would have to buy a whole new Snack Trap since they don't sell the top part separately! Mind you, if you buy this product ($5), you should also buy the cover (sold separately for $2) because the snacks can get wet without it. I just ordered a similar product, but different brand, Munchkin, and it comes with two in a pack for about $7! It's worth a try, plus they are bigger and the colors are hotter! With a child, everything is trial and error, you will soon realize. Hahhaa, you have a while before you worry about snacks though, but I saw that you expressed interest in it this morning and had to let you know. Take care, congrats and best of luck Suki Mama!
Good to hear that, but at this time you need to stay calm and elevate your feet, please don't go into the hospital thinking of other people experience because that does not mean that you will have the same experience like they do or had. Remember take it one day at a time and pray,PRAY and the Lord will help you if you trust him, he'll show up.Love ya. Sign your friend from the Bahamas.
Everything is going to be OK....YOU'LL SEE!!!!!!"

Hi Suki,
This note is coming to you from Trinidad. I love your laughter and free spiritedness. At this time watch your diet like a hawk for you don't want to be putting on weight at this time. Don't allow others experiences to color your expectations. I bless you and your husband with Peace, strength and joy to welcoming your firstborn into this world. May your delivery be short and may your euphoria be lifelong. On another note please do not let anyone dissuade you on the sex of your child. I never allowed anyone to change my mind about my firstborn being a son.Always respect your gut feeling.
Hey Suki,
You are looking great!!! I hear that when pregnant women are close to giving birth that they get impatient. You will probably feel that too at some point. I also think it's wonderful that your mom is letting you stay with her. SHOUT OUT TO YOUR MOM!! Let your fans know the baby's name when it's born. LOVE YA SUKI.
