OMG, he is just beautiful. BTW, my husband had told me once that you and I have he same birthday 8/2 and now coincentally my first child "a boy" was born at 9:16 PM as well except on March 11, 1997 and after 37 hours of labor. I think we may be soul-friends. Anyway congrats to all of ou he is a cutie petutie!!! muah !!

Happy Birthday lil man! Suki he is so cute. And you look wonderful. Get your rest now , you are going to need it in the next few weeks, but remember it is all worth it. Boys are the best, I have two girls and a boy. I love them all, but my boy was just way easier as a baby. You and Eric will be great parents. Congrats Eric too.
And to Suki's parents, and Eric's parents.... welcome to the wonderful world of Grandparents!!! I became a grandma in December... and its a whole new world. Enjoy!

hey suki.....i watch you every morning and it was just yesterday morning when i didnt see you i said to my husband "i wonder if suki is already on maternity leave" then i saw dr. steve saying that you were at the hospital i couldn't believe......i was so excited for you and your husband it reminded me of when i had my daughter last december.....just looking into her eyes made all the work and discomfort worth it all.....your son is so cute OMG!!!!! may God continue to keep and bless you your husband and your beuatiful son Kiran (i just love that name)

Thank you Lord,I know the feeling of being in labor that long. My bag busted at 9.30 pm and my daughter came the next day at 3.55pm and that ain't no joke. But thats over now and if you like me even though I want another one, I still won't forget what I being thru. Love ya

Dear Sukanya,

When I heard you were in the hospital I prayed for you. When I saw you holding your baby tears came in my eyes as if you were one of my children.

I remember the first day you were on the news. I remember you gave a message to your brother to go and check the stove. I like when you talk about your parents, they did a good job raising you. I think you are a natural. The way you see it, you say it.

I am sure that you are going to be a marvelous mother. I congratulate you and your whole family. I think Kiran looks like you, he is gorgeous. My wish for him is that everything he touches may turn into gold and that God will guide him and protect him. The best of everything always. Enjoy your life with him as they grow very fast.

I came to love you through a screen and feel you are a part of my life. I am 74 years old and a mother of 5 girls and have 5 grandchildren.

I just went into your blog to find out what you had since not seeing you on the news yesterday. I watch you every morning and especially before, taking my daughtr to school which resumes in September again. You are so beautiful great personality, Kiran is so cute and look at those cheeks, girl I know you're happy it is over. My 9 year old says congratulations!!!!!. I remember myself being in labor with her 17 hours and yes i was exhauted. But god bless him and your husband, enjoy the years they do grow fast and i see my daughter now time goes quickly. get plenty of rest and hope to see you soon Suki....

Sukie to u and ur husband. hes a beautiful bay boy ur king was born .. i watch every morning n ive been waiting anxious to see ur baby like i was apart of the family lol ..i was sleeping with the news on and when i heard them say you were in labor i got up immediatley. i myself am pregnant 6mths with my 3rd son so i do know the blessing and bliss of having a baby boy ..congrats again to u and ur family

Congratulation Suki and Eric on such a great job brining baby Kiran into this world. May the good Lord above continue to shower you all with his bountiful belssings and unconditional love.Enjoy every second with him, even the sleepless nights.

Suki I have 2 boys, 14 and 8 and many times I wish there were still babies, those were absolutely the best days of my life. Don't get me wrong there are still greater days ahead but something about babies memories which are not replacable. I would not change anything about my boys there are great kids.

Suki and Eric lots of luck, love and best wishes to all of you. Enjoy baby Kiran he's lucky to have you both.

Suki enjoy being a mom, but come back soon, I'll miss your laugh in the morning.

Goodmorning suki!! He is beautiful and looks just like you! Congratulations and welcome to motherhood, it is an amazing journey like no other. I have a 10 month old daughter, and everyday is special and new. Enjoy the first few months when they are tiny and quiet lol. Wait until he is a little bigger and you are chasing him around, it goes by so fast it's unbelievable. God bless you and your family, stay well and healthy.

Congratulations "chewki", to you and Eric. You have a beautuiful son. Enjoy every single moment while you can. Soon they grow and you are left wondering were the years went. My boys are now 18 and 21 and I miss them being that little. I am really happy for you. Motherhood is an experience that as women we are blessed with. Fatherhood is a blessing also but carrying around with this little person in us then watching grow remembering where they first started, WOW... too overwelhming right now. Cant' hold back tears no more...love you lots and again congrats!!!!

Good Morning Suki..I caught you this morning with your news crew at home making you breakfast..that was great..the baby is absolutely adorable. I've followed you pretty much during your pregnancy because I was as well. Joshua Chance was born June 17th..but this morning you brought tears to my eyes unlike myself you look "HAPPY" yet tired. For me I'm EXHAUSTED. How do you maintain the thrill..I'm "happy"..yet extremely depressed I wish for the traditional support of family..My mom has been gone for many years and you know something Suki, at 40 I yearn for her everyday..My husband is "there" but you know MEN..it's like their not because they could never do enough. I'm nursing Josh every three hours or should I say on-demand not to mention recovering from gall-bladder surgery 7/28. So to put it nicely..I'm an emotional wreck. Your mother appears to be a lovely woman..and according to you, you're returning to work in October and yes you'll have the support of her..Embrass that, cherish that..it's a once in a lifetime blessing. We only get one MoM.It's actually a recipe I enstilled in my childrens' head so they'll valvue me as well.
