Actor Channing Tatum came by live to talk about his new movie, Dear John, which is based on the book by the acclaimed author Nicholas Sparks.

Tatum plays the role of a soldier home on leave who falls in love with a college student, played by Amanda Seyfreid, who actually stopped by live yesterday.

Channing has played many hit roles such as "Duke" in last years summer hits,

The gang from Sesame Street came on the show today to promote Sesame Street Live, the 30-year running stage tour of Jim Hensen's hit TV series.

They sang "Sunny Days," the shows theme song and gave us tid-bits about some updates to the stage show. The show was the first of its kind to base its content on laboratory research, increasing its educational effectiveness. Sesame Street debuted in 1969 and consisted of Jim Hensen's muppets, animation, live shorts and cultural references. Forty years later the show has evolved quite a bit and is broadcast in over 120 countries according to america.gov.

Sesame Street Live is playing at the Theater at Madison Square Garden February 4-15, 2010 and stars everyone's favorite red monster, Elmo. The cast has a newbie this year too -- Abby Cadabby the loveable fairy-in-training.

Limoncello is Philadelphia sun in a bottle as far as Danny DeVito is concerned. The long time actor came on our show to promote his new italian liqeur and the hit FX sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

DeVito's affinity for Limoncello first became evident when he appeared drunk on The View after a night of drinking with George Clooney. Now he is producing his own flavor of Limencello cleverly named "Danny DeVito's Premium Limoncello." According to SeriousEats.com the drink is produced and bottled on an estate of lemon trees on Italy's Sorrento peninsula and is 60-proof, best served very cold or over ice.

Accompanying DeVito on the show was DelFrisco mixologist Meghan Moran. She whipped up a cuckoo-tini, a Danny DeVito's Premium Limoncello-based drink that was named after his character, Martini, in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Springer will guest host WWE Monday Night RAW on February 15 live from Des Moines, Iowa. His talk show, which gained its highest notoriety in the late '90s, coincidentally when WWE was reaching its highest numbers thanks to the "Attitude" era, have a lot in common.

Both shows are accused of appealing to the uneducated masses with their low brow subject manner and presentation. Actor James Roday stopped by to talk about his role as Shawn Spencer in the hit comedy series Psych and the new season, which kicked off on Wednesday.

The show follows Shawn (Roday), a crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department. His heightened observational skills and impressive detective instincts allow him to convince people that he is psychic.

Roday is a Texas native, who studied theatre at New York University and started off acting in a number of theatrical productions, before making the switch to film with roles in Rolling Kansas and Beerfest. He also appeared in the big-screen adaptation of The Dukes of Hazzard as Billy Prickett.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, Oxygen Network’s husband and wife reality TV team, came on the show today to help solve a great debate: should your toilet paper be rolled over or under?

It's called the Cottonelle Roll Poll and the duo is recruiting people to take sides with Tori on Team Over or Dean on Team Under. The couple came on the set, with their reality TV crew in tow, and tested their method in a sudden death race.

WPIX intern TC McCarthy and freelancer Jeremy Tanner stood perfectly still as they were mummified in Cottonelle 2 ply. Spelling wrapped with her TP rolled 'over' and McDermott with his 'under'. Today's event serves as a preview for this afternoon's kick off of the Cottonelle Great Debate at Times Square studios from 3pm to 6pm.

The debate is being held in honor of Thomas Crapper, a 19th century plumber who is often falsely credited with the invention of the flush toilet. While he was not the inventor (John Harrington was), he did actively promote its widespread use (and no, his name is in no way connected with the euphamism used today).

Spelling and McDermott are the stars of Oxygen's Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, a reality show about the couple's perils in balancing parenthood, stardom and romance in Tinseltown. New episodes air later in the spring.

Nick Lachey stopped by to talk about the new season of MTV’s Taking the Stage.

Lachey is a pop singer, actor, producer, television host, and television personality who rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees. The second season music reality show Taking the Stage is set at his alma mater School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. During the first production, the show chronicled the lives of five high school students and their friends as they train for careers in the arts.

Rising star Graham Phillips visited the studio this morning to talk about his role in the hit television series The Good Wife, which just got picked for its second season.

The Good Wife stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick who becomes the primary provider for her family after her husbands lands himself in jail as a result of a publicly displayed sex and corruption scandal. He was the star of the wildly popular primetime soap The O.C.--now Ben McKenzie tackles crime in the new to TNT show Southland.

The fast-moving drama takes viewers inside the lives of cops, criminals, victims and their families, Southland takes an unforgivingly authentic look at a police unit in Los Angeles. McKenzie plays Ben Sherman, a young rookie cop whom Michael Cudlitz's John Cooper a seasoned Los Angeles cop is assigned to train. Southland was formerly on NBC before it moved to TNT.

McKenzie is best known for playing Ryan Atwood in The O.C. and has also starred alongside the likes of Al Pacino and Amy Adams in films such as 88 Minutes and Junebug. Earlier in his career, and while in New York, he appeared off-Broadway in "Life is a Dream."

Tamra Barney of The Real Housewives of Orange County joined us this morning to set the record straight about her and her husband Simon.

Recently, Barney has been in tabloid headlines because her husband Simon Barney has filed for a divorce "citing verbal abusive and that she’s a cheater." However, the couple have three children together, ages 10, 9 and 4. As viewers of the show would have thought, their marriage difficulties have been shown on the current season of Bravo's hit popular series.

This morning, she said the divorce didn’t surprise her because their marriage has been rocky for a few years and their divorce just happened to coincide with the taping of the reality series. Barney told PIX that she and Simon only text -- not speak -- to one another after 11 years of marriage. And, since he filed for divorce she has not "sat down, slept or eaten in a week. I moved out of the house and I’m trying to settle so I don’t know what’s going on.”

On her Facebook page, she’s posted, "Thank you for everyone who understands and supports me. For the record, all accusations are false."

Mandy Moore stopped by this morning to discuss cervical health and a new educational campaign with Gynecologic Cancer Foundation.

January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and Moore has joined the crusade to help inform young women the importance of cervical health. She’s urging girls all around the world to support research, education and public awareness of gynecologic cancer prevention, early detection and optimal treatment. The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation and GlaxoSmithKline are teaming up to to help reduce their risk of cervical cancer.

New Hampshire native, singer–songwriter, actress and fashion designer Mandy is not only those things, but she’s a philanthropist. According, to a press release from her own official website www.mandymoore.com, she’s teaming up with nonprofit organization PSI, and its subsidiary, Five and Alive, in fighting malaria in Africa. Moore was also involved in serving as the Honorary Chairperson of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's division on awareness for youth. She served as a spokesperson by helping young people be aware of the seriousness of leukemia and lymphoma.

Creation is a biographical, fictionalized account of Charles Darwin's (Bettany) relationship with his eldest daughter Annie (Martha West). He teaches her about his theory of evolution.

In Legion, Bettany plays the archangel Michael, who is the leader of the human fighters. After, God loses faith in humanity, he’s the only one standing between mankind and Armageddon, using angels to execute the Last Judgment.

Former Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air star Tatyana Ali stopped by the studio to talk about her new TV series called Love That Girl and her role on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless.

Love That Girl centers on young divorcee Tyanna Jones (Ali) who returns to SoCal to start a new chapter in her life. "Tyanna gets a surprise visit from her brother Latrell Jones (Alphonso McAuley), an aspiring stand-up comedian, who insists he’s just there to stay “one night,” even though his bags suggests a much longer stay.

Former American Idol contestant Katharine McPhee joined the show today bringing with her some new tunes, and a fresh look.

McPhee performed "Had It All" and "Keep Drivin'," two singles from her new album Unbroken, released January 5th.

McPhee was a brunette when America noticed her on the fifth season of American Idol back in 2006. The singer/songwriter came in second place that season, and mezmerized America with her rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” RCA records snatched up the fledgling artist and she released her self-titled debut album in early 2007.

Now she’s platinum blonde and getting more personal with her music. In Unbroken, the singer flexes her vocal and lyrical muscles. McPhee co-wrote many of the songs on her album, citing her life as inspiration. She said on her myspace page, "This record is definitely more personal to me […] I have more stories to tell. It’s more of an artistic look at me as a person."

Grammy Award Winner Chubby Checker joins us to talk about using his widely popular hit song to emphasize the new "twist' in the medicare drug program.

According to Social Security Commissioner Michael Astrue, as of January 1st more than one million people low-income seniors are newly qualified for the "extra help" program.

"We want to get the word out," said Astrue, "and who'd better get the word out than an American legend."

"I am glad they chose me for this because it helps people," said Checker, whose real name is Ernest Evans.

His stage name was inspired by Fats Domino. The Chub is credited with getting adults onto the dance floor with his classic "The Twist." Before this, adults did not dance to teenaged music.

His other hit songs include Jingle Bell Rock, Pony Time and Let's Twist Again.

Animal adventurer Donald Schultz undertakes a global mission for rare venom and DNA samples in Animal Planet's Wild Recon.

While other children were out playing soccer, nine year-old Donald Schultz was busy catching and handling the deadliest snakes on the planet. Born and raised in South Africa, Donald was the youngest person ever to give venomous snake demonstrations at the world-famous Fitzsimons Snake Park.

In Wild Recon, Donald travels to remote and jeopardous locales to collect the samples critical in cataloguing species and research that will one day save countless lives. He stopped by PIX studio with three exotic venomous animals and demonstrate how he would extract venom from them as seen on his show. Donald also talked about what venom from these specific animals is used for and how his job is very, very rare, specifically because of the dangers associated with it.

Actor Matthew Goode stopped by the studio to talk about starring opposite Amy Adams as Declan in the new romantic comedy Leap Year.

New Jersey's own Rob Battaglino stopped by to bring us some holiday cheer and sing his new song "Christmas Time."

Battaglino was a regular hardwood floor contractor. Then in 2006, he began writing a song with his wife. Eventually, he let friend (and drummer) Charlie Beyer listen to it. Beyer saw potential in the song, later titled "Christmas Time," rounded up some more musicians and convinced Battaglino to record the track.

Actress Bryce Dallas Howard stopped by to talk about her role as Fisher Willow in the new movie The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond - a Tennessee Williams screenplay.

The movie "tells the story of Fisher Willow (Howard), the disliked 1920s Memphis débutante daughter of a plantation owner with a distaste for narrow-minded people and a penchant for shocking and insulting those around her. After returning from studies overseas, Fisher falls in love with Jimmy, the down-and-out son of an alcoholic father and an insane mother who works at a store on her family's plantation. She tries to pass him off as an upper-class suitor to appease the spinster aunt who controls her family's fortune, but when she loses a diamond, it places their tenuous relationship in further jeopardy," according to IMDB.

In the holiday movie, Gonzo forgets to mail three of his letters to Santa and convinces Kermit and the gang to help him deliver them to the North Pole. Some famous faces who appear in the movie are Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane and Uma Thurman.

Constantine Maroulis joins us to talk about his lead role as Drew in Broadays play "Rock of Ages."

Constantine Maroulis is an American rock singer, actor, and writer from Wyckoff, New Jersey. He was the lead vocalist of the hard rock band Pray for the Soul of Betty and the sixth-place finalist on the fourth season of American Idol. He received a nomination for a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his role in Rock of Ages. In a recent interview Maroulis said "this business is a lot about luck and timing. To have the opportunity to create a role in a great show has always been a dream of mine, and then to be able to help take us from Off-Broadway to Broadway and then to get a Tony Award nomination -- well, it's all been a real thrill."

The play takes place in 1987 on Sunset Strip, where a small town girl meets a big city rocker and in LA's most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the 80s, ROCK OF AGES. Maroulis plays Drew Bowie, a hopeful wine-cooler drinking rocker who dreams of making it to the big time.

Actor Jeff Bridges stops by to talk about his new film Crazy Heart, which he was just nominated for a Golden Globe.

Crazy Heart is a drama about an alcoholic country singer who finds redemption with the help of a single mom journalist played by Maggie Gyllenhaal. The film was originally scheduled to open in Spring of 2010 but the studio, Fox Searchlight, moved up the release date when words spread that Bridges' performance could land him a couple of golden statues during the award season.

"I just hope people read those [reviews] and go see the movie," Bridges told Suki. "It's a small budget film so we can't afford ads and commercials."

Actor Justin Kirk joins us today to talk about his new hit Broadway play "The Understudy."

"The Understudy" is a comedy about the inner workings of the less-than-glamorous side of Broadway. During this 90 minute performance, it introduces a cast of characters including a star who doesn’t understand the play, a disgruntled stage manager, and a stoner set technician and an understudy trapped in a thankless job amidst all the comic chaos.

The Emmy-nominated Kirk is a native of Salem, Oregon, who is known for playing Prior Walter in Mike Nichols's screen adaptation of Angels in America. He’s received an Obie Award for Distinguished Performance in the Ensemble. Kirk also won a Back Stage West Garland Award for Outstanding Performance on his role of a piano prodigy in Old Wicked Songs and was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2007 and that’s just to name a few of his accomplishments for his work.

Actor Jimmy Smits stopped by to talk about joining the cast of Broadway's "God of Carnage."

The play begins when the son of one couple (Smits and Annie Potts) has broken two of the teeth of the son of another (Christine Lahti and Ken Stott). As a result of the incident, huge tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the two supposed civilized married couples caught up in an all-out playground fight.

Even though he lives in Los Angeles with his family, Smits is a Brooklyn native who attended Brooklyn College and Cornell University. Smits is a Golden Globe- and Emmy-winning actor who is, perhaps, most recongized for his roles as Victor Sifuentes on L.A. Law, Det. Bobby Simone on NYPD Blue and Matt Santos on West Wing.

Actor/rapper/producer Nick Cannon stopped by the studio to talk about hosting TeenNick's Halo Awards and being named Sexiest Host in the People Magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue.

A native of San Diego, Cannon got his big break in the Nickelodeon show All That. The network later gave him his own show --The Nick Cannon Show -- in 2002. He later starrred in Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing, Roll Bounce and Underclassman. In 2003, he got his feet wet in the music industry and released his self-titled debut album. Cannon is married to singer Mariah Carey.

Yuri Foreman starting boxing at 7-years-old and 20 years later, he's proven to be a real contender in the ring. Three weeks ago, this prize fighter took on Daniel Santos, and walked away with the WBA Junior Middle Weight title.

Foreman has come so far that there's even talk of him fighting Manny Pacquiao in March 2010. He spoke to us about what he thinks about possibly fighting one of the biggest names in boxing, how he felt when he first got the news, and who else he'd like to take on in the ring.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum is currently in the Philippines meeting with Pacquiao to discuss terms of a proposed world title fight with unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. this spring. But even before Arum's plane landed, the Pacquiao camp was already pushing an alternative matchup with newly minted WBA junior middleweight champion Yuri Foreman.

Kristin plays a New York publicist E.J. Baxter, a woman who goes from being engaged to a Manhattan lawyer to losing both her job and fiance on the same night of her office Christmas party. This big city girl then decides to take a new job and move to the opposite end of the United States to a town called Kalispell, Montana. There she tries to help the local search and rescue team raise some much needed funds. Through it all, E.J. finds the warmth of the country and discovers what really matters to her as she takes on a new life, in her new home.

Best known for her role in Curb Your Enthusiasm, actress Cheryl Hines talked to us about her directorial debut in Serious Moonlight, a romantic dramedy written by the late Adrienne Shelly (she directed Hines in the critically acclaimed Waitress).

The film centers on a high-powered attorney (Meg Ryan) who duct tapes her adulterous husband (Timothy Hutton) to the toilet, right before their home is invaded by burglars. The original screenplay writer of the project was Adrienne Shelly (she directed Hines in the critically acclaimed Waitress), who was murdered in New York and her widower Andy Ostroy produced the film on her behalf.

In a recent interview Hines said, "I feel a great sense of pride to be directing this film, I had such respect for Adrienne and the work she did. And I love her writing so much. That tone is really in my wheelhouse."

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan topped by the studio to talk about his new comedic film Broken Lizard's The Slammin' Salmon.

The Slammin’ Salmon centers on a restaurant whose former heavyweight champion owner, Cleon "Slammin''" Salmon (Duncan) sets his waitstaff against each other in a competition to see who can win the most tips, with the winner taking home a cash prize and the lowest earner winning a beatdown from the champ.

Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Duncan is best known for his breakout role as John Coffey in The Green Mile , which he was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Duncan also gained attention when he appeared as one of a group of oil drillers sent to stop an asteroid from annihilating the Earth in the 1998 blockbuster Armageddon.

Canadian comic, writer, director and producer Dave Foley stopped by to talk to us about two of his upcoming projects -- the indie film The Strip and ABC holiday animated special Prep & Landing.

The Strip is about, a typical day in the work life of five employees of the low-end electronics chain, Electri-City. Bound by the constraints of suburban life, the quarter-mile of the strip mall and tedium – they’re like everyone else, who dream of something more. As their stories interweave, egos clash and their tolerance is tested, the crew finds that friendships comes first and some dreams are not just not worth chasing.

Foley has also lent his voice to the starring character in Prep & Landing -- ABC's first television special produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The half-hour holiday special reveals the never-before-told tale of an elite unit of elves.

There’s a new Victoria’s Secret Angel in town and her name is Doutzen Kroes. She stopped by to tell us about participating in her first Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

The 23-year-old Kroes joins the likes of Heidi Klum and Adriana Lima, as well as past angels like Gisele Bundchen and Tyra Banks. Tonight's show will feature infused lingerie, musical performances, red carpet interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the world's most celebrated fashion show.

Kroes said her career began when she scored a modeling contract after she sent her photos to an agency hoping to earn enough cash to buy more fashion magazines. Soon the 5′10" stunner was filling their pages.

Jenna Ushkowitz stopped by live! The "Glee" star was born in South Korea and raised in East Meadow, Long Island.

Ushkowitz has been acting since she was 3 years old. She's been on "Sesame Street", "http://www.cbs.com/daytime/as_the_world_turns/" and "The King And I". The talented actress also has a strong set of vocal cords. When she was just 13 years old, she sang the national anthem at a Knicks game in Madison Square Gardens.

Adrian Pasdar from "Heroes" was here live. He plays Nathan Petrelli on the hit show.

When he was 19 years old, Pasdar got his break break when he auditioned for a role in "Top Gun." The director was so impressed, that he wrote in a character just for Pasdar. His first television break came in 1996. He was cast on the FOX series "Profit". He later landed roles on "Desperate Housewives" and "Judging Amy".

Short got his start in "You Got Served". He also starred in "Accepted" with Justin Long. Short is probably the most known for his lead role as D.J. from "Stomp The Yard."

Hannah Montana star Mitchel Musso stopped by to perform two acoustic versions of his songs TK NAME anfd TK NAME from of his self-titled debut music album.

Musso, 17, is a Texas native, who plays Oliver Oken on the popular Disney Channel show Hannah Montana. Musso made his musical debut in summer 2007, when he performed at Universal Studios City Walk. While on hiatus from "Hannah Montana," he toured with Radio Disney's Jingle Jam and recently, he and his band opened on select dates for the 2008 Tour of Gymnastics Superstars.

Actor Michael Kenneth Williams stopped by the studio to talk about his role as The Thief in the new film The Road.

Multi-platinum British-Indian R&B and pop artist Jay Sean stopped by to perform his two hit singles "Do You Remember" and "Down" off his third studio album (but first American album) All or Nothing.

Jay Sean is currently signed to Cash Money Records with rapper Lil Wayne. His American debut single "Down" topped Billboard Hot 100 chart, making him the first solo artist of Asian origin and first UK urban act to top the Hot 100. The single alone sold over two million copies in the United States, making him the most successful male UK urban artist in US chart history to date. The next single “Do You Remember" debuted at #27 in the Hot 100.

In a recent interview, Jay Sean said "I want to do my best to represent the UK in America and let people really understand that it doesn't matter if we're from a little place called Hounslow. Actor Matthew Rhys stopped by to talk about his role as Kevin Walker in the ABC series Brothers & Sisters.

The thing is, with the Walkers, they're dropping these bombshells at every meal. Kevin is director of communications for his brother-in-law Senator Robert McCallister. This former corporate lawyer is the second youngest of the Walker children and is in a domestic partnership with Scotty Wandell.

With 12 Grammys, four number one albums and a slew of roles on the big screen, you would think Alicia Keys had more than enough to put on her resume.

In an effort to expand her brand and career, the 28-year-old singing sensation is now pursing a number of ventures outside of music that she calls "business of inspiration."

Keys, who recently launched her new company AK Worldwide (AKW), announced a partnership in The Barber's Daughters jewelry line - the first of many endeavors, she says.

The inspirational handcrafted jewelry line caught the singer's eyes during a tour stop in Toronto last summer and inspired her to design her own collection for the line.

"They are these unique one of a kind pieces that have the most beautiful words on them, and for me - as a song writer - words mean everything to me," she told PIX News during a retail gallery reception Tuesday at the Collette Blanchard Gallery in Soho.

"People always tell me my music has gotten them through different periods in their lives and I feel this is an extension of that."

An updated version of the popular 1990s series of the same name, Melrose Place centers on the seemingly innocent but truly dark lives of a group of 20-something tenants and their intertwining lives.

Born in Hong Kong and raised in Australia, Jacobsen's big break came when he landed a regular role on the Aussie soap opera Home and Away. She made her debut in American television as the lead role of Kendra Shaw in Razor, the highly successful feature-length installment of the critically-acclaimed series Battlestar Galactica. She later landed the roles Maya Robertson in Life On Mars and Jesse Flores in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

In addition to her impressive acting credits, Jacobsen attended Sydney University where she graduated with a double major in philosophy and English literature. Jacobsen currently resides in Los Angeles.

The group is preparing to celebrate their 20th anniversary celebration in 2010 and will kick it off with the release of their new cover album!

You love to hate her on Gossip Girl as the witty, yet conniving Blair Waldorf, but now Leighton Meester is putting down the Fendi bag and picking up a mic. The 23-year-old starlet already made a big splash on the music scene this summer, when she teamed up with Cobra Starship on the hit "Good Girls Go Bad." Now she is churning out singles of her own and has many music critics buzzing.

The actress turned singer landed a recording contract earlier this year and is slated to release her first album by early 2010.

The Gossip Girl star recently performed at the Grand Opening of the American Eagle Store in Times Square. She brought the house down with a four-song set. Guests in attendance included Gossip Girl co-stars Jessica Szohr and Michelle Trachtenberg as well as Entourage star Adrian Grenier.

Vedera, the pop/rock band from Kansas City, Missouri, rocked the studio today with their songs "Satisfy" and "A World Apart" from their recently released EP Stages.

The band has traveled with the likes of The Wallflowers, Jason Mraz and the Fray, and boast a large (and growing) fan base. The quartet is made up of Kristen May (vocals, guitar, keys), Jason Douglas (bass), Brian Little (guitars), and Drew Little (drums). Shabayeva was the lucky winner of a fashion spread in Marie Claire, a trip to paris and $100,000. This was her second win, which she cemented with a flowing striped dress and a romantic blouse and skirt set.

When asked where she gets her inspiration from, Shabayeva said, "Everywhere, I take it from just walking around, meeting other women and talking to women."

Actor Vincent D'Onofrio stopped by the studio today to talk about his role in the gripping new film Staten Island.

D'Onofrio stars alongside Ethan Hawke and Seymour Cassel in this New York tale about three men trying to make it big. When the three cross paths with a blue-collar worker named Sully Haverson (Hawke), things take a turn for the worse. The story catches fire when Haverson decides to crack the safe of Parmie Tarzo (D'Onofrio), a smalltime mob boss, in the hopes that he will be able to provide a better future for his child.

D'Onofrio is a native New Yorker who was born in Brooklyn. D'Onofrio both acts and directs, but he first attracted attention with his role as Private Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence in the acclaimed Full Metal Jacket, and more recently as Detective Robert Goren in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

The newly crowned America's Next Top Model, Nicole Fox, sat down to talk about her becoming the first ever petite model to win the competition.

The 18-year-old from Louisville, Colorado told Tamsen that she has watched the show many times before but never thought that a girl next door such as herself would ever win.

Fox said she would not have entered the contest if the show's 13th season wasn't slated for petite models.

"You can audition at 5'7"," she said, "but I would never stand a chance against those tall girls."

Tamsen sat down with Joe Cada who at age 21 years, 11 months, and 21 days, became the youngest world poker champion in the 40-year history of the World Series Of Poker.

Cada eclipsed Peter Eastgate's record by 340 days. Eastgate was age 22 years, 10 months, and 28 days when he won the WSOP last year. This was the first year Cada that was eligible to play in the WSOP Main Event because of his young age. Cada collected first-place prize money totaling $8,547,042.

Actress Sofia Vergara stopped by the studio to talk about her starring role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the smash hit ABC comedy Modern Family.

Filmed in mockumentary-style, on the show, Gloria (Vergara) is the younger wife of Jay (Ed O'Neill). They're newlyweds of 6 months and she has a young son from a previous marriage, Manny. She’s a very supportive mother that encourages her son to be different. She has a very thick Colombian accent and is proud of her heritage.

In a recent interview she said "I go out to a mall or restaurant and when somebody hears me they'll go, “Oh my God, it's your real accent, and I tell them yeah, I guess I'm not that good an actress.” Yet, she admits at times her comical character forces her to emphasize certain pronunciations. "I do make the accent a little stronger.”

Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Vergara has been easing into the America market from the South American market. She’s well-known for her modeling work, and her first notable American acting gig in the movie Chasing Papi.

Actress Lily Collins stopped by the studio to talk about her role as Collins Tuohy in the new film Blind Side.

The Blind Side depicts the remarkable true story of Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own.

Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family (lily plays his new sister,) becomes an All-American offensive left tackle. Actress Dana Delany stopped by to talk about her role as Katherine Mayfair in Desperate Housewives and tonight's Scleroderma Research Foundation event "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine."

Delany will participate in their annual event tonight at Caroline's Comedy Club. In 1996, Delany stared in the ABC movie For Hope, which was about scleroderma and directed by Bob Saget, whose sister Gay died from the disease. Saget will host "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine."

The Scleroderma Research Foundation seeks to find a cure for scleroderma, a life-threatening and degenerative illness, by funding and facilitating the most promising, highest quality research and by placing the disease and the need for a cure in the public eye. It was founded by scleroderma patient Sharon Monsky in 1987, who lost her battle in 2002.

Scleroderma is typically described as a rheumatic disease of the connective tissues. It is a chronic, degenerative disorder accompanied by widespread vascular deterioration and tissue loss. Scleroderma can be disfiguring, debilitating, and deadly. In the most serious cases, the disease causes severe damage and severe complications for the body’s digestive, respiratory, and circulatory systems.

The play's title was taken from a folk song which refers to a 19th-century escapist vision of utopia. "Oleanna" marks Stiles' roadway debut.

Actor Jim Caviezel stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Six in the new AMC mini-series The Prisoner, in which he co-stars with Ian McKellen.

According to AMC, the series focuses on "a man known as Six (Caviezel) [who] finds himself trapped in a bizarre place called the "The Village" led by a man known as Two (Ian McKellen). Two holds the secrets of escape, and Six must defeat him -- or else stay in The Village forever."

The World Series of Poker Champion Jamie Gold was in the PIX studios.

In 2006, he beat over 8,000 other card players and became The World Series of Poker champ. He played 15 hours per day for 10 days. Gold won $12 million. Not only was his prize the largest in the history of all sporting events, it was more than winning the Indy 500, Wimbledon, PGA Masters and Kentucky Derby combined.

The "Poker Philanthropist" is co-hosting "Monte Carlo In New York", the Third Annual Poker, Fashion and Sports Gala for Sunflower Children on Friday night. To date, he has raised more than $100 million dollars for charity.

Actors Craig Horner and Bridget Regan stopped by to talk about the second season premiere of Legend of the Seeker.

For the second year in a row, Chiller Theatre is back on PIX with the presentation of the 1964 classic The Evil of Frankenstein airing from 8pm to 10 pm on Saturday, October 31. Chiller Theatre will be hosted by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, and will feature the original Chiller Theatre opens: "The Six-Fingered Hand" and the "Monster Montage."

The 1964 campy chiller The Evil of Frankenstein — from Hammer Film Productions, one of the most famous names in horror— Peter Cushing stars as Baron Frankenstein who resurrects his monster only to have him come under the spell of Zoltan, a svengali-like carnival hypnotist who mesmerizes the creature into doing his evil bidding.

Chiller Theatre originally aired on WPIX from 1961-1978 and again from 1980-1982. After PIX resurrected Chiller Theatre in 2008 (with a broadcast of Tarantula hosted by Zacherley), the station received hundreds of requests from viewers demanding the return of Chiller Theatre to the air.

Parody singer Alfred Matthew "Weird Al" Yankovic stopped by the studio to talk about his new two-disc compilation album The Essential Weird Al Yankovic .

Yankovic's humor lies in his ability to create unexpected lyrics to the tune of contemporary chart toppers. between an artist's image and the topic of the song. Former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan stopped by to talk about his new book My Life Outside The Ring.

Hogan's book follows the success of this wrestling celebrity and the "darkness" of his life within the past two years. He has been through a divorce, contemplated suicide and watched his son become the victim of a car accident debacle. He sheds light on what the public didn't see during these important personal events.

Hogan says about his family's reality show Hogan Knows Best, "In public, we were all having the time of our lives, but that public image simply just covered the problems that were growing behind the scenes."

Actor Michael McKeon stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Arthur Przybyszewski on the new Broadway show "Superior Donuts."

The play centers on Arthur (McKeon), who owns a dilapidated donut shop in Chicago. "France Wicks (Jon Michael Hill), a black teenager who is his only employee, wants to change the shop for the better. Actor Matt Bomer stopped by the studio to talk about his starring role on the new USA Network drama series White Collar.

Bomer plays Neal Caffrey, a cunning con man who takes a job as an FBI consultant to avoid going back to jail. He escapes from a maximum security prison only to be caught again by FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). But this brilliant criminal mind doesn't stay behind bars for too long. Neal proposes a deal: he’ll help Peter catch other criminals if he becomes part of a work-release program. With criminals running amok, Peter reluctantly agree.

Starting this fall, Kim Coles will host BET's ground-breaking new game show called Pay It Off, which gives the contestants a chance to change their lives and pay off their mounting debt. The Mario Batali Foundation celebrated "Magic, Martinis and Mario" last night -- an event promoting the education and empowerment of children all over.

In addition to his 15 restaurants, TV shows and books, Batali, who currently resides in New York City, is adding actor to his resume this year. Aside from his hectic schedule, Batali says he's finally realized how to balance it all.

Actress Michelle Monaghan stopped by the studio to discuss her leading role as Diane Ford in a new movie drama Trucker.

The film was written and directed by James Mottern, who said in an interview, “I wanted the script to fit Michelle Monaghan, she gave an unforgettable performance [as lead actress throughout the movie]." She plays Diane, a vigorous and successful independent truck driver, who lives a care-free life of long-haul trucking, one night stands and all-night drinking until her estranged 11-year-old son (Jimmy Bennett) shows up at her door.

Monaghan is no stranger to the small and big screen, with roles in Boston Public, Hack, Law & Order and Young Americans. She’s also known for her co-starring roles in Mission: Impossible III, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Gone Baby Gone, Made of Honor and Eagle Eye.

Actress Bai Ling stopped by the studio to talk about her role as Esther in the new drama movie A Beautiful Life.

"Maggie (Angela Sarafyan) is a teenage runaway fleeing her family; David (Jesse Garcia) is a teenage illegal immigrant. Actor Dominic Cooper stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Danny in the new indie film An Education.

Set in early 1960s London, An Education is a coming-of-age movie about Jenny, a suburban girl on the cusp of her 17th birthday, who meets a 30-something man who introduces her to the world of chich dinners, art auctions, smoke clubs and foreign trips. But just as her parents' life-long dream of sending Jenny to Oxford University seems within reach, it seems she may be wooed away from her education into a life of adventure. Actor Jordan Belfi stopped by the studio to talk about his role as Adam Davies in the TV series Entourage and his role as Victor Welch in the movie Surrogates.

Belfi shared some spoliers and his prediction for the next season of Entourage. The comedy series takes a look at the day-to-day life of Vincent (Vince) Chase, a hot young actor in modern-day Hollywood, and his entourage. He's brought with him from their hometown in Queens, NY: manager Eric, half-brother Drama, and friend Turtle. The series draws on the experiences of industry insiders to illustrate both the heady excesses of today's celebrity lifestyle, as well as the difficulty of finding love and success in the fast track of show biz.

"In the near future, humans live in isolation and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. When several humans are murdered when their surrogates are destroyed, a cop (Bruce Willis) investigates the crimes through his own surrogate. After a near fatal encounter, the cop's surrogate is destroyed and forces him to bring his human form out of isolation and unravel a conspiracy behind the crimes," IMDB says about Surrogates.

Belfi is a Los Angeles native, who was a film major at Wesleyan University. His other acting credits include CSI: Miami, Moonlight and Smallville.

The new season of The Next Iron Chef kicks off this week! On it, 10 world-class chefs will battle it out for a place in kitchen stadium. But, before they do that, they're going to have to make it through the gaunlet in PIX Kitchen!

Each day this week we're featuring a local chef from the show, and today we have Seamus Mullen, executive chef and partner of Boqueria Flatiron and Boqueria Soho. His "secret ingredient" today is shrimp and Mullen's showing us how to make Montado de Gambas (Garlic Shrimp on Toast with herbs) and Ensalada de Gambas (Salad of Sweet Shrimp, Avocado, Fennel and Citrus).

Mullen was raised on an organic farm in Northeastern Vermont. His love for Spanish cuisine began when his high school language teacher encouraged him to study abroad for a year. Later in his life, he returned to Spain to work at Mugaritz, Abac and Alkimia. Upon returning to New York, Mullen worked as executive sous chef at New York City's Brasserie 8 ½, alongside executive chef Julian Alonzo. He later opened Spanish tapas restaurant Boqueria and Boqueria SoHo with Yann de Rochefort.
