cook0506.jpg

Rev. Suzan Johnson Cook was born in Harlem and founded a Baptist church in the Bronx. She's made her mark all over the city and she's rubbed elbows with politicians, former presidents and has travelled the world preaching a message of tolerance.

Now, she's been tapped to become President Barack Obama`s religious freedom ambassador. Rev. Suzan Johnson Cook is described by the New York Times as Billy Graham and Oprah rolled into one.

Harlem's Sendoff Celebration for Rev. Cook is at Chocolat Lounge from 2pm to 4:30pm at 2217-23 Frederick Douglass Blvd. at 120th Street. For more information, visit www.drsujay.com.
