Free Asthma Screenings In NYC

New York-area allergists will help adults and children learn if they are at risk for asthma or exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB) as the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) conducts its 15th annual Nationwide Asthma Screening Program.

Free screenings will be held at the following locations:
• May 5, 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Kissena Park, bounded by Oak Avenue, Hemstead Turnpike, Kissena Boulevard and Fresh Meadow Lane, Queens
• May 14, 9 a.m. to noon, Lawrence Hospital Center, First Floor Conference Room, 55 Palmer Ave., Bronxville
• May 14, noon to 2 p.m., Whole Foods, 471 New Jersey 35, Red Bank, N.J.
• May 15, noon to 5 p.m., Roosevelt Field Mall, 630 Old Country Road, Garden City
• May 19, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Nassau University Medical Center, Auditorium, 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow
• May 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Albanian Islamic Cultural Center, 307 Victory Blvd., Staten Island
