I think people are making too much out of everything lately. I mean- no one will remember this in a couple of weeks and it's just an ad! Men wear pink polos and button downs- really- ppl need to get over this!

Promoting transgender children?? I don't think so. First of all, transgender children DO exist so let's not even deny that. Second of all, on a more realistic note, why should a little girl get to play ''tomboy'' and dress in boys clothes and we call it adorable? Why can't a little boy wear pink toenail polish? NOT A CRIME. It's his choice, I'm sure his mother didn't hold him down and force it on him, he seems pretty happy in the picture. And guess what - even if he did grow up to be gay/transgender/etc I can guarantee you it's not because his mother painted his toenails pink. Get a clue, America. Stop living in the Stone Age.

I see nothing wrong. I think its the "adults" who have the problem. My son is 4 1/2 and his favorite color is pink. Its a beautiful color! That is what he sees, and nail polish is paint. People should just relax. My son is all boy!!!!

People are overeacting. Wy do we always have to label everything and everyone. I am disgusted. A child with pink nail polish, really? Does that really make a child anything other than a child having fun and building a relationship with their parent?

I think people should spend there time worrying about more important things like educating the children in a gender neutral world. For years a shot little league photography and every year there would be 1 or 2 boys that would show up.with muulti colored nails. The j crew add is doing exactly what the wanted it to do get the viewers attention.

i dont see how some people are saying this is inappropriate. the kid likes pink. so what! as long as this isnt something the mother is FORCING onto her child, it is fine. is the parent supposed to tell her son that NO, its not ok to like pink and its NOT of to paint your nails? i dont think so. we should be encouraging our children to be who they are.. and if/when they run into others who have a problem with it, we stick up for them and guide them. this is something the parent and child enjoy doing together. isnt that better than NOT spending quality time with your child? I can almost bet that this child with the pink toenails will turn out to be a well-rounded individual!
