Nancy O'Dell & Trainer Jessica Matthews On Getting America To Dance

nancy0415.jpg

According to a study released February 2011 from the CDC, fewer than two in 10 Americans get the recommended amount of physical activity-- 150 minutes/week. Although she never officially had her chance to compete in Dancing with the Stars, Nancy O'Dell is embarking on an even greater challenge - she's on a mission to get America dancing!

One of the hottest trends in fitness in 2011, dancing is loved by everyone from the Surgeon General, Regina Benjamin, to Beyonce. Now, Nancy O`Dell is partnering with the American Council on Exercise and the Hershey Center for Health & Nutrition to launch a new dance activity called Moderation Nation Batuka Break, designed to get Americans on their feet in a fun, family-friendly way - through dance.
