Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained At St. Luke's Theatre
Comedian Jane Condon has a new off-Broadway show "Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained."
In it she talks about the many reasons she does comedy: youngest of four, mom trying to get out of the house, FBI dad, not voted funniest in high school,a brief--and unintentional--stint in a go-go cage. Then there's the real reason...her bipolar brother.
With her show she hopes to open up a dialogue about mental illness, which she still feels is taboo.
"Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained" plays at the St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th.
