'Justified' Star Joelle Carter Joins St. Baldrick's Foundation's letsCONQUER Campaign
Joelle Carter, stars in the critically-acclaimed FX drama series Justified. Joelle and her husband recently adopted a baby girl, and being a new mother inspired Joelle to team up with the St. Baldrick's Foundation to bring awareness to childhood cancer through letsCONQUER - an outreach movement that provides a voice for the Foundation's cause to conquer childhood cancer. This month marks the 11-year anniversary of when the Foundation was started in NYC.
The celebrity-driven letsCONQUER movement allows people everywhere to unite and raise awareness about the startling realities of pediatric cancer, such as every 3 1/2 minutes a child is diagnosed, and 1 in 5 of them will die within 5 years. As part of the movement, the Foundation has developed a series of video vignettes – featuring Joelle and other celebrities – each aimed at educating the public about childhood cancer.
