Nearly 12 million Americans suffer from food allergies. And the business world is responding with a growing number of companies dedicated to people with food allergies. We checked out Divvies, Navan Foods and Simply Peeled.

Mark and Lori Sandler, created Divvies in response to their youngest son Benjamin's food allergies. While inspired by their son, Divvies is all about inclusive eating. Their goal is to bring food food to everyone, with or without food allergies.

Navan Foods: The Allergy Free Food Shop was founded by a Jennifer Elizondo, a mother of a multiple food allergic child. Navan Foods provides users with information cards for each product that identifies specific ingredients the product is made without, as well as information regarding the manufacturing environment. They obtain this information from an extensive allergen questionnaire they send to manufacturers of the products they sell.

Products on set included:
-Explore Asian Black Bean Spaghetti
-Lucini Rosemary Frittata Mix
-Beanitos Black Bean Chips
-Eden Black Beans & Quinoa Chili
-Eco Planet Maple & Brown Sugar Hot Cereal

Thanks For The Information!! Would Be An Excellent Program For Every Spring & Fall As The Kids Get Ready For Summer and Returning To School. I have a 5 year old daughter that has Multiple Food and Outdoor/Indoor Allergies!

Peanut Free Planet serves the food allergy marketplace with foods that are peanut free and tree nut free and free of many other food allergens.

That’s a very good point there. I made a search on the topic and found many people will agree with your article.
