UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR FOR BOTH A MOTHER AND A SCHOOL OFFICIAL!!!

Posted by Robin Padovani at March 3, 2011 7:15 AM

The mother entering the bus should be prosecuted.
The gentleman pulling the little girl with the back pack should not face any charges, I don't think he "intentionally" pulled her hard, he was driving the bus, and I think the incident with the child leaving the seat isn't the first time. When small children are riding the bus, they are assigned to seats, he obviously had issues with the child sitting in the seat.
He does not deserve to be prosecuted, nor should he lose his job, its the Mothers job to teach her child to sit down in moving vehicles.

that mother was wrong but she was protecting her son

Parents/school officials need to remember as they cut budgets, bus matrons and teacher aides are the first to get cut. There will be more incidents because drivers and teacher caan't do their jobs and babysit children that have no respect for authority.

Somebody had to teach that kid how to act. They're clearly not doing so at home

I don't think the driver was wrong. It appears in the video that this is an ongoing issue as stated by the driver. "I keep telling you to sit down and you won't listen to me!" So he gave her a realistic example of what could happen. I don't think charges should be brought on him. That's a hard job and he should be rewarded for doing what he did now everyone on the bus knows to SIT DOWN!

See me as a parent I can say that the bus driver is wrong , but that bus driver didn't just lose control . He didn't have patients when he started working for the school . It seem like the broad of education don't know who they hire to deal with your kids . It concern me that it is so many issue s with the school bus companies . That company should lose their contract

I am going threw the same problem myself. I was surprised to see the video this morning. I too got on the bus but never spoke to any child just the bus driver. I needed to no more information before I moved forward. The child's name is all I wanted, but decided to just to to the school.. I can understand her rage but as a mother in the same position I thought about my action rather than acting on them. I wish her luck in the mistake she has done. In not thinking about her kids @ the end of her rage. Who would be there for them know u are no longer there?

I feel sorry for the bus driver. We need more like him or her in this crazy world. Parents have failed raising kids nowadays. We give our kids everything and are raising spoiled kids. That little girl did not get hurt by what the bus driver did.Yet the parents are thinking of bringing up charges. If he had to make an emergency stop and the girl went through the windshield, the little girl may had died.Would the parents be bringing up charges against the driver ? I believe Absolutely they would. This little girl is alive today.Parents be thankful for that. If she was pushed by a friend, they be laughing about it.Think of it as "Lesson Learn"
Rehire the bus driver.

i'm sorry, but i understand the bus driver. kids these days can push you to the limit, lets give thanks to the government for that. too much freedom and rights has been given to our children by the government, so these are your results. we also have parents who don't enforce any type of discipline to their children, and then these are the results!!

Sick bastards!

Neither is appropriate! The mother needs to go through the proper channels to deal with the issue.
The bus driver is very scary. He is clearly out of control the way he yelled at the children. I can't believe how much of the driving time was spent with him turned around yelling at those kids.
I suspect he knew he did wrong as he kept trying to justify his actions. He seems overwhelmed and frustrated. Stop the bus and deal with the students, separate the disruptive groups but don't pull them to the ground and yell at them.
Both students and drivers need training on how to behave on busses and there needs to be consequences for inappropriate behaviour.

I think both incidents where wrong, parents on here saying I think they did was good, smh you know damn well if I repeat if that was your child that got slammed by the bus driver or your child got slapped by another parent, one you either call the cops or take actions into your own hands... Which you should think hard about number 2.
