Shay Mitchell On Her Character's Bisexuality On ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars"
Actress Shay Mitchell returns to ABC Family's hit series Pretty Little Liars this January as the bi-sexual teenager, Emily Fields.
This coming season Emily has come to terms with her sexuality and has decided to come out of the closet as a lesbian. With the continued coverage in the media on teen suicide due to bullying and the lack of outlets where young adults feel comfortable discussing this, the show is hoping to open up a controversial subject that will reach out to those in the same position. Pretty Little Liars earned the Teen Choice Award for "Choice Summer TV Show" and has become the newest teen indulgence on the small screen.
Pretty Little Liars airs on ABC Family.
