Marc Morrone Talks About 'Petkeeping', Dispels Animal Myths

A modern-day Dr. Doolittle, Marc Morrone really knows how to talk to the animals -- and about them, too. He is Martha Stewart's go-to guy in the world of four-legged and winged beasts, from dogs to cats, rabbits to ferrets, parrots to canaries, and he is bringing his wisdom to Hallmark Channel for a new season of Petkeeping with Marc Morrone, which premiered in January 3.
Marc’s 30 years of experience combined with his quirky and charming approach to taking care of his friends in the animal kingdom makes this subject informational and highly entertaining. Joined by top animal behaviorists and veterinarians along with his trademark menagerie of pets, the show is filmed in Parrots of the World, Marc’s pet shop, in Rockville Centre, New York. Customers and their family pets stop by seeking Marc’s advice on every topic from common cat/dog myths and misconceptions to how to keep children and pets safe and happy while living under the same roof.
Through dialogue, demonstration and Marc’s personal and professional experience, he shares valuable tips and insights needed for responsible and enjoyable petkeeping. This season he looks at plus-sized pets, baby pets, older pets, high-maintenance pets, traveling with pets, children and pets, and more.
Marc stopped by with three exotic pets: Yoshi a Savannah monitor, Sigma a ball python, and Bowser is a red footed tortoise.
