'Time To Know' Program Incorporates Digital Teaching Methods

Under the approval of New York City Schools Chancellor, Joel Klien, a new education program called "Time to Know" was chosen to be implemented in more than 20 schools participating in the Innovation Zone project.
"Time To Know" is a teacher-led program that includes an interactive core curriculum and a Digital Teaching Platform designed for today's one-to-one computing classrooms. The user-friendly software is available for fourth and fifth grade math and English language arts, with the addition of sixth grade for the 2011-2012 school year.
Lisa Mateo visited P.S. 143 in Corona, Queens to find out how the program works. For more information on "Time to Know" log onto www.timetoknow.com.
