Nia Long, DJ Beverly Bond Tell Us Why 'Black Girls Rock!'

Actress Nia Long and celebrity DJ Beverly Bond were here to talk about BET's newest award show, Black Girls Rock! It's Bond's brainchild and hosted by Long.

Black Girls Rock! Inc.,an organization that takes an active role in being a part of the solution to the crisis facing young women of color, joined forces with BET Networks for an unprecedented worldwide broadcast of Black Girls Rock!

The event will be a historic and monumental show highlighting the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions in their careers, and who stand as inspirational and positive role models in their communities.

Black Girls Rock! will air Sunday, November 7.
