Ed Burns Tells The Difficult Tale Of 'Nice Guy Johnny'

ed1101.jpg

Ed Burns stopped by to talk about his ninth feature film as a writer, director and actor in the recently released movie Nice Guy Johnny.

Johnny Rizzo (Matt Bush), is about to trade his dream job in talk radio for some snooze-ville gig that'll pay enough to please his fiancée. Enter Uncle Terry (Burns), a rascally womanizer set on turning a weekend in the Hamptons into an eye-opening fling for his nephew. Nice guy Johnny's not interested, of course, but then he meets the lovely Brooke (Kerry Bishé), who challenges Johnny to make the toughest decision of is life.

Lauded by critics and audiences alike, Burns gained international recognition for his first feature The Brothers McMullen and is also known for his work in such films as 27 Dresses, Saving Private Ryan and She's The One. Burns has truly established himself as a pioneer in independent film which is clearly evident in his latest film which will be released via a unique digital distribution platform on iTunes, VOD and DVD simultaneously.

Nice Guy Johnny is in theaters now.
