American Women Veterans Foundation Seeks To Empower Women In Service

Today, we had four members of the American Women Veterans Foundation here to talk about serving and Veteran's Day.
Our guests were: Genevieve Chase, founder and executive director of American Women Veterans, US Army Reserve, Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, 2006;
Victoria Stattel, AWV Essay Contest Winner, US Navy, Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom, returned home in August;
Rebecca Albert, AWV Veterans Advocate, US Coast Guard, Served in multiple locations around the globe as well as Relief work after Hurricane Katrina;
Rebekah Havrilla, AWV Veterans Advocate, US Army, Explosives Ordinance Disposal, Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom
American Women Veterans Foundation believes that women have always been the catalyst for change within our homes, our communities and the world. They envision a society in which the legacy of America's servicewomen, veterans and their families is celebrated and carried on to future generations of powerful and inspiring women. They strive to empower women from all branches of service with a continued sense of pride and service which enables them to reach their full potential and to contribute as they always have, in making America stronger.
