Tamara Tunie Delivers A "Frog Kiss" On Stage

Actress Tamara Tunie joined us today to talk about her recently debuted play "Frog Kiss," for which she is the production advisor.
Frog Kiss was chosen for the New York Musical Theater Festival this year. The play tells the story of Clementine, a princess looking for the man of her dreams in a frog she meets-it's your classic frog-Prince Charming fairytale with a bit of an adult twist.
Taking to the stage as well, Tunie is also acting in a New Jersey Shakespeare production of "Alls Well That Ends Well".
Tunie is no stranger to theater (winning a Tony for her work on "Spring Awakening") or film, but she is most likely a familiar face to most viewers as medical examiner Dr. Melinda Warner on Law & Order: SVU. Past credits include her role as Alberta Green on 24 and her breakthrough role as Jessica Griffin on As the World Turns. In the movie world, Tunie is best known for her work in Devil's Advocate and City Hall, as well as directing and producing her film, See You in September which has an upcoming release this year.
You can see Tunie on stage until October 10 (click here for tickets and showtimes) and catch her in Law & Order: SVUon Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
