The State Of Newark Schools And What Needs To Change

DeNiqua Matias, Newark resident/parent and Leah Owens, founder of Teachers as Leaders in Newark were here to discuss Newark schools. They are both members of the Abbott Leadership Institute.

The Mission of the Abbott Leadership Institute is to empower parents, students, educators and community advocates of Newark Public Schools with information, and knowledge of effective methods for family and community engagement schools.
