'Grey's Anatomy' Star Sara Ramirez Kicks Off 'Broadway Takes The Runway'
Life is precious: That's a lesson Sara Ramirez learned the hard way. But from a life lost, she's now helping save others just like her character on Grey's Anatomy . The Tony Award-winning actress and a host of other stars will gather tonight for "Broadway Takes The Runway."
Emmy Award-winning television personality Carson Kressley will host the event, and will be joined by a host of Broadway stars for an intimate evening to celebrate Broadway Takes the Runway -- an evening of fashion and song. All proceeds from the night will benefit the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, which honors the close friend of Ramirez and Kressley, who was lost to liver cancer in 2008.
The event will take place at Touch Nightclub located at 240 West 52nd Street. Doors open at 7pm and the show will begin at 8pm. Tickets are $50 for the show and $200 for upstairs VIP access.
