Victoria Justice Is 'Victorious' In Balancing Career, Being A Role Model

vic0928.jpg

On the hit kid's show "Victorious," she plays the triple threat Tori Vega, a high school student gifted as a singer, dancer and actress. However, in the real world actress Victoria Justice is more than a triple threat. She's a role model for millions of girls-a role she takes very seriously. PIX11 Morning News anchor Sukanya Krishnan chatted with the star about her influence over young girls. Victoria's latest project allows her to get out and really make a difference. She has been in NYC for the last two weeks working on an initiative with the United Nations called Girl Up. The campaign gives American girls the opportunity to channel their energy and compassion to raise awareness and funds for programs of the United Nations that help some of the world's hardest-to-reach adolescent girls.

You can meet the Nickelodeon star along with fashion photographer/"America's Next Top Model" judge Nigel Barker at the Vanderbilt YMCA on Thursday from 4 to 7pm. The two will lead hundreds of girls in a Pep Rally launching the Girl Up campaign.

Also, added to her busy schedule...modeling. Justice appears on the cover of Teen Vogue and is the new face of a new "Got Milk" ad campaign. She wears the milk mustache with pride. Check out the behind-the-scenes of the photo shoot (click below).

Of course, you can catch "Victorious" on Fridays on Nickelodean at 8:30pm. This week's episode is titled "The Great Ping Pong Scam." On October 22 at 8pm, Victoria Justice can be seen in "The Boy Who Cried Werewolf," an original two-hour TV movie. The teen comedy with a sci-fi twist follows Jordan Sands (Justice), a shy and unpopular teen who is accidentally transformed into a werewolf during a visit to Wolfsberg, Romania where her family has inherited an ancient castle. She, her prankster brother and the icy housekeepe (played by actress Brooke Shields) must work together and against the clock to prevent Jordan from remaining a beast forever.
