'Time To Know' Promotes Educational Advancements

NYC school principal Sheila Gorski and Shmuel Meitar, founding chairman and principal of Time To Know were here to discuss what the lagging United States can learn from education advancements abroad.
Under the approval of Joel Klien, Chancellor of the New York City Department of Education, Time to Know was chosen to be implemented in more than 20 New York City elementary schools participating in the lauded Innovation Zone (iZone) project from the New York City Department of Education this school year. And, during the 2010 and 2011 academic years, Time To Know will be implemented in 150 classrooms in Israel and 120 classrooms in Texas and New York.
Time to Know is unlike supplemental software as the digital teaching platform operates in a teacher-led classroom as the primary carrier of core curriculum content. Using this platform, teachers can blend digital and traditional instructional activities to deeply engage 21st century learners, address diverse learning styles, personalize lessons, and improve student performance.
