We are all imperfect in some way or another, but the truth is that even Judge Mathias who had a troubled past got a second chance to redeption. She also deserves a chance!
I believe this teacher should be allowed to teach. I think she could be example for children, showing them that they can change there lives and become something wonderful. I don't believe that someone's past should keep them from growing and becoming a successful figure.
It is funny how hypocritical as a society we can be. If she has changed her life for the better and has not shown any misappropriate behavior lately why not let her teach. We can forgive religious leaders and politicians but not teachers who have changed their lives for the better.
At least she is not in that wave of teachers who have been caught having an affairs with underage children. She might have told her story to help other young women out there to show them that you can do something good with your life if you are willing to change it.
Grow up society he who lives in glass houses should not cast stones,
SO WHAT? That's her past....she deserves a chance just like everyone else...why should anyone lose their job...as long as she's not a threat to the children, that's all that should really matter...everyone has a past...leave her alone!!!!
I don't know why she admitted to being a prostitute and stripper in the first place but I must say I admire her courage. She is only one of hundreds of women who have had to do what hey had to do to survive in this over expensive city perhaps while supporting a family, trying to pay tuition, trying to pay sky high rent or even feed herself or pay medical bills. We don't know her story, we don't know what she was going through so we can not judge. The fact that she became a educated professional just goes to show that she wanted better for herself, so Kudos to her! If she was a man I bet this would be no issue, this is just another case of the double standard. Leave her alone and let her live, she made a new life for herself and deserves to live it without persecution.
Exactly STAR, so what? Look at PIX Morning News - Jill N. posed nude for Playboy, but she's on air doing traffic (most of the time fully dressed...).
The way I see it everyone has done something they may not be proud of at one time or another, she has changed her life. The woman is teaching art not stripping or hooking in her class, what's the problem?
To all the self-righteous individuals who can't see past someone's mistakes I think JESUS CHRIST said it best, "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
