What happened to John Muller on the morning news? Why has he been demoted and replaced by Chris Burrous? Burrous sucks on air, no personality, no presence.

in an internet article dated 7/21/2010, it is stated that beginning 9/20/2010, the pix morning news show was to expand to five hours, from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m., with john muller and sukanya krishnan anchoring the show from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. if that is the case, then where is john muller? why is chris burrous anchoring the whole morning? i have occasionally seen john muller doing a featured segment of the news show, but he has not co-anchored. my question is the same as the one posted by steve on 9/29/10.
it does appear that muller has been demoted, since burrous is now in his place, and muller is doing silly or inconseequential stories and features. would really like to have him back. nothing against burrous, but started watching pix morning news with sukanya and muller and really enjoyed their chemistry. bring back muller!!

Please bring John back. I used to look forward to watching the show and now it's loss its spark. It's unnerving that you just switch anchors without any explanation. Your loyal viewers don't like when you just change things. It's annoying seeing John doing silly little stories when you are used to having him deliver the real news. I don't mind Chris, but he's a little boring.

I'm sorry I cringe everytime I watch the morning news now. Chris is awful, he makes inappropriate comments, and the chemistry on the set is awkward to say the least. I can see that he makes everyone uncomfortable. They have so many talented anchors; john, craig and james ford. Why would they give this guy top spot is beyond me. I can barely watch for 10 minutes before changing the channel.

I really miss John. They need to bring him back. How can PIX have him doing silly stories (like sexy halloween customes) and have him on at 4 AM like he's not a seasoned anchor?? I watch PIX every single day and if John is not back in the top anchor spot I'm switching to another channel. PIX is just confused...the nightly news now John is demoted.

I don't understand removing John Muller from the team! Suki and John make a great team! He is fun AND professional. He is likeable and credible.

He makes each story he reports relevant to me as a viewer. Besides, John and Dr. Steve are the only ones who can read a story, make it conversational and not trip all over their words...)

While I like the whole WPIX11 team, Suki, John and Dr. Steve are the main reasons I watch Channel 11. Please say that you are rewarding his work with a new and better position!

I don't like the personal attacks on Chris, but I have found his comments on occassion to be borderline inappropriate. If there needed to be a change, why break up a great team??? "If it ain't broke, why fix it?"

I loved wpix morning news. Started watching from the beginning but the weather does not go on at the top of the hour I have moved to NY 1. When I switched back yo pix without John muller it's just bland and boring. Sorry pix you used to be number 1 with me

I love Chris Burrows. I listened to him in Sacramento. It takes a little while, but he grows on you. I was looking for him on the internet, because I miss him in Sacramento.

WPIX News is obviously shooting for the lowest morning news rating, Shoosukanya Krishnan is extremely annoying with her constant interruptions while conducting interviews and while others are giving their news reports. Chris Burrous should not be on the air period, he is a very awkward reporter, makes ignorant comments, sooner or later he will cause WPIX to be sued due to his stupid comments, he obviously knows or is related to someone in WPIX management to come out of nowhere and anchor what was a highly rated newscast, clearly he is terrible. To WRIX management: return John Muller and Craig Treadway to the anchor desk, IF IT AINT BROKE, DON'T FIX IT. If you don't control Shoosukanya Krishnan, remove Chris Burrous and return John Muller and Craig Treadway, I guarantee your ratings will never rise. i have been watching pix since the beginning,always looking forward to pix in the morning with john/ suki, I even hooked my husband of 5years: however since John left his seat we lost interest in pix, we now watch another channel. BRING JOHN BACK!!!!!! Bring back the charm and chemistry of John and Suki the news just has not been the same.

I've already switched from watching WPIX in the morning in favor of Lori Stokes on Channel 7. (Sorry Suki and Linda - Jill I never really cared for - nothing personal). What a class act on Channel 7! You guys should watch and learn. Redeem yourselves now while you still can - bring back John Muller.

Chris is not even in John's league. He needs to be the one doing the small stories and learning from a true anchor. That would be John. Bring him back or you will use a lot of viewers.

The morning news is a hot mess. What happened? Mikes not working, the video clip never playing, wrong pictures to the story, etc. It looks like a bunch of interns running the show. Chris Burrous is the best thing that ever happened to this channel.. You just need to give him a chance.. He has a very clever and slick sense of humor, and you have to be on your toes to catch it sometimes. Maybe that's your problem.. You're just not getting his sense of humor.. WOW ! What the hell is happening here, today I officially stop watching WPIX. First of all what made PIX nice to watch was that the people on the show were people I ( a working class guy) can relate to. Now the show has jumped the shark with a bunch of new Blonde bimbos who don't have the New york sensibilities and wit that the previous crew (John M.,Jill N.)had. The producers have to understand that viewers want to wake up to familiar faces.Oh yeah one more thing ,the whole free form format of people walking through camera shots in front of the anchor desk is a really unnerving too. The producers and directors in charge of these changes should all be fired. WPIX I'm done with you,damn I really don't want to watch FOX ! Change sucks but at least I'm taking control and changing the channel.

Miss John Muller... the morning news has been crazy with all kinds of random people filling in for lead anchor. I miss the consistancy of Suki and John in the morning.

Very disappointed I looked forward to watching Morning news Its becoming to confusing and the anchors more so. Please get rid of the blonde and bring back John.I would wake up to the news now I find myself changing the channel to Fox 5. Someone needs to wake up.

I use to watch wpix every morning and I can't understand why they would take john muller off he was the best. I no longer watch the news the only way I would watch the news again is if they bring john back!!!!

Turned on Pix this morning in one last attempt to stomach the horrible blonde and Suki duo. To my surprise and satisfaction John Muller and Tamsen were on and the blonde lady (Lori?) was reporting on the side- where she should be if Pix thinks she absolutely needs to be there. Please bring John back as a permanent anchor on the morning news- he is so much easier on the eyes and makes me actually want to watch the news! Bring Muller back!
