Larry Mendte, 9/11 First Responders To Go To D.C.

larry0928.jpg

Larry Mendte was in Barnegat, New Jersey this morning to talk to ailing 9/11 first responder Chalres J. Giles about why it's important for the House and Senate to pass the 9/11 health care bill.

Giles rushed to the aid of a firefighter on Sept. 11. As a result of his selfless act to help another, doctors found bits of debris -- including glass and concrete -- in his lungs. Giles lost his house because he couldn't keep up with paying his mortgage and medical bills. Now, he is dying and has to take 39 different medications, which totals to over $4,000 every month.

Giles says the passage of the 9/11 health care bill should not be a political issue. He says the American thing to do is for the House and Senate to pass the bill that will help all 9/11 first responders who continue to suffer from lingering health problems nine years after the attack.

Larry and four buses filled with 9/11 first responders are headed to Washington, D.C. today ahead of the 12:30pm vote to urge politicians to guarantee the passage of this necessary bill.

Giles is too ill go to D.C., but urges others to call their representives to impress the importance of 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.

John Feal, founder and president of the FealGood Foundation, which spreads awareness and educate the public about the catastrophic health effects on 9/11 first responders, said some key Republicans who should vote in favor of the 9/11 Health and Compensation Act are: Scott Brown (R-MA), George LeMieux (R-FL), Olympia J. Snowe (R-ME) and George V. Voinovich (R-OH).

I was moved by this segment this morning. ALL 9/11 responders deserve for their health care to be paid in FULL! They put their lives on the line to try and rescue the innocent victims of a terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

Mr. Giles, I wish you all the best. You will be in my prayers.

As a news media, you channel 11, are our hero for airing this commentary. perhaps the rest of our news media will start being as straight forward and as challenging towards our congress as your station and Larry Mendte. One can only hope. But again, today you channel 11 are my hero! A McShea

You must tell all the injured first responders to take 4 ounces of Qunol and 1,000mg of Ubiquinol per day to give Oxygen to every cell in the body.
My wife & I have been trying to contact the first responders for the last 5 months after we learned how CoEnzymeQ10 builds up human immune system.

You are a blessing to our country - our congress is a curse. As you have stated before, and rightly so, they are more concerned about the jobs than the welfare of the country. I wish you "Kadimah" which in Hebrew means Go Forward."

New York City should seriously be its own country. I say this because the U.S. does not seem to understand, or do not want to understand that we have the suffered the most from the 9/11 attacks and we are still a target. But what is really disheartening about these politicians who is blocking this bill is that these are the same politicians who preach about being patriotic and we as Americans must stand united, yet there are not standing behind the very people who were on the front lines during the attacks. We can spend trillions on unpopular and unjustified wars but we cannot seem to support our own people. How saddening. Sometimes I feel like I want to move to Canada.

How can we not provide Health Care to our 911 First Responders. Many risked/lost their lives attempting to save others during the 911 attack. Later, responders risked their health while working on the "Pile" after the collapse of the towers.
These unselfish responders did this out of concern of their fellow man. On the other end of the "concern of their fellow man" spectrum are greedy corporate executives, corrupt politicians and others who have no concern for their fellow man.

Since When Do America & The Politicans Of America Give A Damn about The People Of America, First Responders Are More Like First Ass Holes To A Politician. If America Politics Can Assassinate A Couple Of It's President's It Most Certainly Can Liquidate A Few Of It's Grate Structures And Place The Blame Eleswhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's a disgrace that our Goverment is a bunch of cry baby spoiled brats ! that only care about themselves. None of them would have ran to Ground Zero the way OUR HERO'S did.How dare they even have to think about it. The only thing these ass holes are worried about is cutting taxes for thier rich asses. Our HERO'S shouldn't have to beg for money to help them and thier familes, They ran when they were needed but the goverment Wears blindfolds and 911 IS FORGOTTEN FOR THEM ,BIN LADEN IS STILL ALIVE ,990 AMERICAN HERO'S ARE NOT.
GOD BLESS OUR HERO'S AND GOD HELP US.
