Former NY Jet Don Maynard Talks About Book 'You Can't Catch Sunshine'

From his days as a youth in rural Texas to his brilliant football career with the New York Jets to his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1987, talented wide receiver Don Maynard's love of football is what made him a legend. In his new book You Can’t Catch Sunshine, Maynard writes of his treasured time as a football player in the NFL, AFL and CFL and most notably, his role in getting to and eventually pulling off the most unlikely upset in football
The former Jets wide receiver Don Maynard, a self-described laid-back speedster from a dusty corner of Texas, also talks about his unlikely friendship with a brash, young quarterback named Joe Namath resulted in the most unlikely upset in football history: Super Bowl III.
