The 'World Of Jenks' Gives Insight To Real People's Lives

jenk0910.jpg

Andrew Jenks has a new MTV show World of Jenks premiering September 13th at 10pm on MTV (and will air right after the VMA's). He has already won multiple awards as a documentarian and he is only 24.

The show follows Andrew as he shadows a complete stranger in each episode. He focuses on one person's story, lives with them for eight days and documents it-from a mixed martial arts to a platinum-selling recording artist to a young homeless woman.

For Andrew Jenks' first film, HBO's Room 335, he moved into an assisted-living facility and stayed for over a month. Jenks' second film, The Zen of Bobby V had him spending seven months in Japan filming American baseball manager Bobby Valentine as he managed the Chiba Lotte Marines. Praised by film critics around the world, the film premiered at the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival.
