Shaun Taylor-Corbett Takes Centerstage In Broadway's 'In The Heights'

Shaun Taylor-Corbett is no stranger to theater. Since 2007, the young and talented actor has been part of the Tony award-winning musical "In the Heights," where he plays the lazy but quick-witted Sonny. He's starring opposite High School Musical alum Corbin Bleu and, starting August 19, American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.
"In the Heights" blends salsa, rap and Latin pop in its lively musical numbers. The show won Tonys for its score and choreography before it took the top award as Best Musical in 2008. "In the Heights" tells the story of Dominican-American youths living in New York City and struggling to realize their dreams, which range from winning the lottery to returning to the Dominican Republic.
After graduating from the University of Delaware, Shaun joined the New York Public Theater and studied in its Shakespeare Lab program. He made his Off-Broadway debut in "Altar Boyz" as the Ricky Martin-esque character Juan, and then he became an "In the Heights" ensemble member when the show came to Off-Broadway. Shaun stuck with "In the Heights," playing Sonny in its national tour and, now, on Broadway.

Most of us who think of attending In The Heights performances, we’re faced with the lack of tickets or the sky-rocked prices. Lately, I was recommended Ticketwood.com to compare and purchase tickets and found it interesting. You may want to check.
