'Smallville' Star Allison Mack Goes Off-Broadway For "Love, Loss, And What I Wore"

allison0812.jpg

Superman's best friend is now a superstar on stage. Smallville actress Allison Mack stopped by PIX Morning News to chat about her latest gig in the Off Broadway play "Love, Loss, and What I Wore."

The show, based on a book, consists of a series of anecdotes about clothes and the memories they trigger. From prom dresses to handbags, actresses like Rosie O'Donnell, Kristin Chenoweth, and Sherri Shepherd have recounted the wardrobe-inspired tales since the play's debut last September.

Allison's shown her talents on stage before in performances of "Chicago" and "Rent," but she's best known for her TV work, both on and off camera. She's played Chloe Sullivan for nine seasons on Smallville, right here on the CW. Its tenth season will premiere in September. Allison's proved herself behind the scenes, too: she directed two episodes of Smallville and opened her own production company, Parvati Creative, Inc.

You can see Allison in "Love, Loss, and What I Wore" until August 29, so make sure to get tickets soon! Visit the show's website to learn more. And don't forget to catch the premiere of Smallville's 10th season on September 24 at 8 p.m. on the CW.

Allison Mack character will always be to me the iconic Lois Lane.
From since day one watching her put pen to paper at the Torch at Smallville high school with Clark and Pete..
Then to move into the Daily Planet and fulfill her dreams.
She was the one to watch. She has made Chloe Sullivan a character with Charm and Warmth.
The girl to root for to be the one to win out in the end for the Love of the Iconic Superman/Clark Kent in such a wonderful series.
We Love you AM..You are Smallville's Leading lady till the end.
The writers are just plain foolish to have missed the greatest opportunity to bring this Superman story into the next Generation with an actor worthy of the spot next to Clark Kent.
AM you rock!!
We Chloe fans love you!!
