The Kids In The Hall

The men who brought the world the headcrusher are debuting their smashingly funny miniseries in the U.S. tonight. The Kids in the Hall stopped by PIX Morning News to chat about "Death Comes to Town" and their quirky, Monty Python-esque comedic style.
The title "Death Comes to Town" should be taken literally: shortly after the Grim Reaper himself becomes stranded in a small Ohio town, the mayor is mysteriously murdered, and a small-time criminal gets the blame. The ensuing investigation spans eight episodes, which all of the Kids co-wrote.
The five-member group formed in the early 80s and began broadcasting their sketch comedy show on Canadian TV in 1988. For five seasons, they had viewers in stitches with skits that reveled in their oddity. Some of their most famous recurring roles were the head-crushing Mr. Tyzik, the flamboyant and long-winded Buddy Cole, and the human-hen hybrid Chicken Lady. The all-male members frequently dragged it up to appear as seductresses, secretaries, and even Queen Elizabeth II. After the show ended, the Kids made a movie together and toured North America.
Now you can watch the Kids on TV again, so tune into IFC at 10 p.m. tonight to catch episode one of the eight part series "Death Comes to Town."
